Immerse yourself in the Sahara during 7 days expedition from Djanet to Tihoudayene. Explore breathtaking landscapes, discover rock paintings and be enchanted by the timeless magic of the desert.
Day 1: Djanet – Tin Taghirt – Ihrir Oasis
Day 2: Ihrir – Tinkadioune – Tasset – Tin Kranka (Afara)
- After breakfast, departure in a 4×4 towards Tinkadioune to visit a beautiful cave known for its rock paintings.
- We then continue our journey to Tasset, where we will have lunch.
- After lunch, we will visit the rock paintings of In Tahadft and the vast shelter of Tedart, before continuing our journey to Tin Kranka (Afara).
- Set up the bivouac, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Afara – Ifadanioune – Tin Batoulan
- After breakfast, departure in a 4×4 towards the oasis of Tamadjert, where we will have lunch.
- We then head to Ifadanioune to visit some rock paintings.
- Continue to Tin Batoulan for dinner and camping.
Day 4: Tin Batoulet – Tihoudayene
- After breakfast and visiting the shelters at the Tin Batoulet sites, we depart in a 4×4 towards Tin Tahount Tarouhet, where we will have lunch.
- We then continue our journey to the Tihoudayene erg.
- Set up the bivouac, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Tihoudayene – Tazzat – Tin Abrou
- After breakfast, departure in a 4×4 towards Tazzat, where we will have lunch.
- We then continue our journey to Tin Abrou.
- Set up the bivouac, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Tin Abrou – Tikoubaouine – Tihramiouin
- After breakfast, departure in a 4×4 towards Tikoubaouine, where we will have lunch.
- We then continue our journey to Tihramiouin to witness a magnificent sunset.
- Set up the bivouac, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Tihramiouin – Timghas – Taghine – Tighaghart
- After breakfast, departure in a 4×4 towards Timghas, Taghine, and Tighaghart to visit the famous « Crying Cow » rock engraving site, which dates back to 8000 BC. Lunch on-site.
- Return to Djanet for a shower and a visit to the local market.
- Dinner at our campsite, accompanied by a musical evening.
- Transfer to the airport for your flight to Algiers or Paris.
Note: This program may be subject to changes due to weather or security conditions. The expedition leader has the sole authority to make necessary decisions to ensure the smooth running of the stay.
