South to North Algeria Expedition

  Day 1 : 

Arrival at the airport, where you’ll be greeted by our Tuareg team. Transfer to the campsite for the rest of the night. After breakfast, depart in a 4×4 towards Tadrart, with lunch at Amais. We will then continue our journey to Elberdj for dinner and camping.

  Day 2 : 

After breakfast, we continue our journey, passing through cultural sites adorned with rock engravings and paintings along the Elbaraj Valley. We will then stop at Marcaoindi for lunch. In the afternoon, we head towards the majestic dunes of Moluannaga, where you can admire the ergs, and finally set up camp in the heart of the Moluannaga dunes.

  Day 3 : 

After breakfast, we’ll head towards the Cathedral Arch, with a stop to admire the engravings at OUANAZAOUA. We’ll have lunch there. After a good tea, we’ll visit INETEHAK to discover the orange hues and different sand colors. In the evening, we’ll set up our camp.

Day 4 : 

After breakfast, we’ll visit BOUHDIANE to explore rock paintings and engravings. We’ll have lunch there. In the afternoon, we’ll head to TIMERZOUGA to witness a magnificent sunset blending with the sand colors. In the evening, we’ll camp.

Day 5 : 

After breakfast, we’ll head to a site called the Circus, then to Ouanzouaten for lunch, where we can discover rock paintings and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon, we’ll head to OUANAHER to further explore rock paintings and appreciate the beautiful scenery. In the evening, we’ll camp at OUANAHER.

  Day 6 : 

After breakfast, we’ll cross the Oued Indjernne, passing by a shelter adorned with rock paintings. Then a break at Aimais for lunch. We’ll continue our journey to visit the Elephant (rock formation) and the famous engraving of « the crying cow« . Return to Djanet for camping and dinner at our campsite.

Day 7 : 

“Discovering Djanet city”. After breakfast, we’ll take a shower, then visit a museum in the city center, have lunch at a restaurant, after which, we’ll visit an ancient Taghorfit castle and the SOUK market. Dinner at our campsite, transfer to the airport. 

Day 8 : 

« Discovering Tipaza and Cherchel« . After breakfast at 9 AM, our destination is Cherchel, which is 93 km away from Algiers. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the museums in Cherchel before heading back to Tipaza city to discover the ancient Roman city. This excursion will take approximately 4 hours. On our return journey to Algiers, we’ll make a stop to visit the famous Christian Tomb (Tombeau de la Chrétienne). We’ll spend the night in Algiers.

Day 9 : 

After breakfast and check-out, we’ll embark on a journey towards Sétif via Highway, approximately 311 km away from Algiers (about 3 hours and 30 minutes). Our destination is Djemila, where we plan to spend around 3 hours exploring. Afterward, we’ll proceed to Constantine, which is 124 km away (approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes of driving). Upon arrival, we’ll check into a hotel in Constantine for an overnight stay.

Day 10 : 

Following breakfast, we’ll journey towards Batna to visit Timgad, which is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes away. Our exploration of the ancient Roman city of Timgad will take about 3 hours. On our return trip to Constantine, we’ll make a stop to visit the famous Tomb of the Kings (Tombeau des Rois) Imedghassen. We’ll spend the night in Constantine.

Day 11 : 

« Discovering Constantine City« . Following breakfast, we’ll embark on our journey to explore the beautiful sights of Constantine. The tour of Constantine will take approximately 6-7 hours. In the late afternoon, we’ll begin our journey towards Algiers, which is approximately a 4-hour drive via the highway. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Algiers. 

Day 12 : 

“Discovering Ghardaia city”. After the breakfast, transfer to the airport (morning flight) to fly to Ghardaia. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the best sights in Ghardaia city. This trip will take approximately 7 hours. Transfer to airport to fly back to Algiers. 

Day 13 : 

“Discovering Algiers city” After breakfast, we’ll embark on our journey to explore the beautiful sights of Algiers, including the Casbah, museums, the Cathedral, and the Grand Mosque. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Algiers.

Day 14 : 

Free day in Algiers for shopping and rest. Transfer to Airport for international departure according to your flight’s time.
